Your drawer measurements, layouts and generated models are processed on your device.

Local model generation

Your browser downloads the site, the model library and the OpenSCAD engine. It then generates geometry locally in a background worker. This application does not send your project, dimensions or STL files to a model-generation server.

Project storage

The drawer planner saves the current project in your browser’s local storage under gridfit-project-v1. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see it. Clearing this site’s browser data deletes the local copy. Download a project JSON file if you need a backup or want to move it to another device.

Downloads and imports

STL, ZIP and JSON downloads are assembled in your browser. Imported project JSON files are read locally and checked against the supported format. There is no cloud account or synchronization.

Feedback is optional. The diagnostic file contains your current tool settings and available check results; the planner replaces your project name with a generic label. Saving it does not upload it. Opening an email draft passes a short settings summary to your mail app. You choose whether to send the email and attach the file or photos to the maintainer.

Optional usage statistics

Statistics are off by default. If you turn them on, the tools send the tool type, generation outcome, a broad error category, elapsed-time range and download-start events to this website. We store daily totals, not individual activity histories. We do not include models, dimensions, project names, raw error messages or visitor identifiers in these counters. A download event does not tell us whether a file was saved or printed.

Your choice is stored only in this browser. You can turn it off at any time; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also disable statistics. There are no analytics cookies or third-party analytics scripts. We keep a rolling 90-day window of daily totals, removing older rows when new statistics arrive. Results cover participating browsers only.

Hosting connections

The current application does not include advertising, tracking cookies or remote fonts. The website is hosted with OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare. These hosting services may receive normal connection information such as IP address, user agent and requested URL when serving website assets or receiving statistics.
